The year 2014 is proceeding to be the most
significant year for India’s well known politicians and
their followers. Their future relies upon their efficiency in the Lok
Sabha elections due in April-May. From BJP’s prime ministerial
applicant Narendra Modi to Congress leader Rahul
Gandhi, 2014 will be very critical. Here’s a look at what 2014 holds
for them.
Narendra Modi: For BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, it is the most
essential year in his whole life. If he controls to bring the BJP-led NDA to
energy after 2014 Lok Sabha elections under his leadership, he will be the
champion. If he fails, he is unlikely to get a second chance. A victory assures
the post of Prime Minister. A beat can even unseat him from the post of Gujarat
Chief Minister. Modi has to deal with Congress and other regional parties
plus AAP to recognize his dream of ruling India from the South
Block in New Delhi. We will get the answer in another 5 months.
Rahul Gandhi: The ‘reluctant‘ and unofficial prime
ministerial candidate of the Congress is experiencing the most challenging
challenge in his 10 year political career. The party’s rank and file is rattled
and shook by shocking defeat in the recent assembly polls. Scams are also scary
his party. The mood in the huge old party is anything, but self-confident. The
party is pushing him to take the plunge. If he controls to win at least a
respectable number of seats in the Lok Sabha polls, he
can remain appropriate in Indian politics. If he loses, knives will be out and
his own party may requirement that his sister Priyanka Gandhi must take charge.
All eyes are on Rahul Gandhi.
Manmohan Singh: India’s third
greatest serving Prime Minister after Nehru and Indira will most probably fade
away from community life after Lok Sabha polls. Even if the UPA
returns to power, he is unlikely to get a third term in office. The year – 2014
would be his year of retirement. The saddest part is he is going down as a
inability. Manmohan is a lonely determines and not many
will actually shed tears for him...................click here for more....
